Hmmm. . . . yes, feedback. I have a student who sits in the back of one of my classes and nods or looks appropriately puzzled while I stand at the front of the room and talk. I can always tell if a concept is going over the students' heads or not by his reaction. His nonverbal encouragement always affirms me and I appreciate him because of that. Verbal or nonverbal: feedback is good. I had to leave this post so you would get some two-way communication!
